FAIRFAX ENT, OUR PARTNER

What is an Audiologist?

Audiologists focus on helping people with hearing and balance problems. They perform diagnostic tests such as hearing and balance tests and analyze the test results. They explain how hearing loss and hearing damage occurs as well as the long-term effects of hearing loss.

Our Doctors of Audiology will work with you to recommend, fit and fine tune hearing aids that meet your unique hearing needs. Audiologists are experts at evaluating, testing, fitting and servicing hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.

What is an ENT?

An Otolaryngologist or an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) Doctor is a Physician trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with disorders of the ear, nose and throat. They diagnose and managing diseases of the sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity, and upper pharynx (mouth and throat), as well as structures of the neck and face. Otolaryngologists see both children and adults.
